Nominations Opens For IoT Start-Up Awards 2016

IoT India Congress announces opening of its inaugral IoT Start-up Awards 2016. Nominations are open for young companies (less than 5 years of being in business) registered in India for their exceptional contribution in the IoT space and its adoption in India. The award aims to recognize and reward the start-ups with breakthrough innovations in the IoT space with a winning strategy to monetize their product/services and propagate the IoT movement in India.  Submissions close on 25nd August 2016. Entry closes on 25th August 2016.

India’s start-up boom is an encouraging sign of the increasing entrepreneurial temperament in the country and we aim to foster upcoming businesses in the IoT ecosystem with the right platform and support. The IoT Start-Up Awards will hopefully be a launch pad for radical innovations that will lead India’s race to be an economic super power.” Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, the Chairman of the IoT India Congress organising committee said in a statement.

IoT Start-Up Awards part of IoT India Congress 2016 will be a three day mega event scheduled from 6th -8th September 2016 in Bengaluru . The congress  aims to bring the IoT practitioners (hardware – devices, portables, sensors, software, business) and IoT enablers (regulatory, training, investors in IoT, end users) to work together and create a platform that is industry efficient as well as robust.

Jury members for the award are: Suren Amarasekara, Chief Enterprise Officer, Aircel, Prof. (Dr) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Dr. Frank Puhlmann, Head of Project Methodology and Solution Architecture, Bosch Software Innovations, Sanjeev Malhotra, Head, Centre for Excellence for IoT, NASSCOM, Jaideep Mehta, Managing Director – IDC India and South Asia.
