Thermo King, a subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand and a manufacturer of transport temperature control systems for a variety of mobile applications, has launched ThermoTrack Reefer Telematics Solution at the India Cold Chain Show. The show is being held in Mumbai between 17th-19th October, 2016.
The new ThermoTrack Solution is designed for the truck refrigeration unit market. It will ensure freshness of foods that are shipped around the world requires constant monitoring of the cold chain to protect cargo integrity. The company says that this solution will cater to the customer needs by driving energy and operational efficiency provided through the vehicle temperature management and remote control feature.
Users will get several interesting Vehicle Management, Reefer Management, and Temperature management features with the Thermo Kind Reefer Telematics solution. They can locate & manage fleet on map, manage truck security with location, proactively manage cargo temperatures and modes with two-way, generate Reefer performance reports, monitor reefer set point and return air temperatures remotely, as well as protect cargo and optimize reefer performance by remotely controlling the set point.
